Pro Grooming is a British family business established in 2011 in Sheffield. Its origins are linked to the world of dog care: the owning family became interested in dog grooming after taking their chocolate Labrador, named Bruno, to a groomer. They then identified a gap in the professional market for high-quality dog care equipment, which led them to design and manufacture their own range under the Pedigroom brand, which remains one of their core brands today.

The company moved in 2015 to Scarborough, in North Yorkshire, to be closer to their immediate family. In 2018, faced with the growth experienced, it began a process of considerably expanding its warehouse and office capacity, as the Scarborough facilities were not enough to sustain its expansion.
