Media City Garage

Media City Garage, car repair workshop in Salford (Manchester)

Media City Garage is a vehicle repair and maintenance workshop located on Lord Byron Square, in Salford, within the Greater Manchester area. The business was founded in 2010 to handle the maintenance and repair of the Status Car Hire fleet, which required its technicians to work on a wide variety of vehicles: from economy and family cars to vans, luxury cars, performance cars and supercars. Shortly after opening, the workshop opened its doors to the general public with the same approach.

Services for cars, fleets and private customers

The workshop's service range covers the main maintenance and repair needs of a vehicle:

• MOT (UK technical inspection)
• Servicing and maintenance
• Tyres
• Diagnostics
• Air conditioning
• Exhaust
• Suspension
• Timing belt and camshaft
• Brakes
• Vehicle repairs
• Bodywork
• Alloy wheel refurbishment
• Smart repairs (minor bodywork and paint repairs)
• Vehicle wrapping
• Window tinting
• Valeting and detailing

The company serves both corporate and automotive trade clients as well as private individuals, and presents itself as a workshop with trained technicians who work with particular attention to detail.

Online booking and collection services

The workshop has an online booking system available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, allowing customers to select the service and date. It also offers a free local collection and delivery service, so the customer does not have to travel while their vehicle is at the workshop. A free return shuttle service to the Lowry Shopping Centre and Media City is also available, so customers can shop, dine or go to the cinema or theatre while the work is being carried out. For those who prefer to speak on the phone, the Manchester call centre is open until 19:00 during the week.

Bodywork quotes with photos

For bodywork jobs, the website allows customers to request a quote via a form where they can attach images of the vehicle, after which the workshop responds with an assessment.
