About Timeless Classics

Timeless Classics, an editorial collection of female classics

Timeless Classics is a collection of classic novels that, according to its presentation, brings together a selection of works that revolutionised the female universe. The collection includes titles by authors such as Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters, Louisa May Alcott, Edith Wharton, Elizabeth Gaskell, Kate Chopin, George Eliot, Lucy Maud Montgomery and Nathaniel Hawthorne, among others. Each issue is distributed by subscription and is designed to occupy a permanent place on bookshelves.

An editorial project with illustrations and finishes inspired by the Victorian era

The collection is presented as an editorial treasure: the covers feature illustrations with gold embossing, inspired by naturalistic motifs of the Victorian era, which extend across the front and back covers and the spine. The design aims to transform each book into a unique and carefully crafted object.

Subscription advantages

The site details the conditions for subscribers. The first issue, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, has a special price of £2.99. The second issue, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, costs £11.99. Subsequent issues cost £11.99 each. Subscribers receive all issues at their home address at no additional shipping cost and can cancel the subscription at any time, with no commitment.

The subscription includes five gifts: elegant bookmarks inspired by original designs from the Cranford collection; a free issue; two sets of three limited-edition prints illustrated by Hugh Thomson, one of the most famous illustrators of the 19th century, with colourised versions, gold embossing and quality paper, size 21 x 30 cm; and two Art Deco-style bookends, made of wrought iron with a geometric design. The bookends are supplied without the books.
