The CV Guru

The CV Guru: professional CV writing in the United Kingdom

The CV Guru is a British company specialising in the creation of CVs, cover letters, personal statements and LinkedIn profiles. Its approach is based on a team of consultants with sector experience who work directly with each client, without using artificial intelligence. The firm operates under the trading name The CV Guru, part of The CV Guru Group Limited, with company registration number SC540173 and VAT number 434 1638 08.

Writing and optimisation services

The service catalogue includes CV writing, LinkedIn profile optimisation, cover letters and personal statements, CV updates, and interview and presentation coaching. The company also offers outplacement services. The prices published on the website start at £97 for the CV writing service, £125 for LinkedIn and £145 for senior-level CVs. All documents are professionally rewritten and formatted, and optimised to pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Specialisation by professional profile

The firm offers specific service lines for senior professionals and executives, for the police sector and for recent graduates. The team of writers has its own sector specialisms, which allows the content to be tailored to each candidate's level and sector. Among the team profiles, senior writers with experience in recruitment, project management and middle-management selection are mentioned.

Working method and guarantee

The process begins with a personalised consultation in which the client's career history is analysed. Each user works directly with a dedicated specialist who knows their sector and their goals. The company offers unlimited amendments on CV, cover letter, personal statement and LinkedIn profile services until the client is satisfied, and backs its work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. The website stresses that documents are produced by real experts and not by artificial intelligence tools, and that generic templates are avoided.
