Skirting King

Skirting King: interior mouldings manufactured in the UK

Skirting King is a British manufacturer and distributor specialising in interior mouldings, with its own production in the UK and a catalogue of over 65 profiles. The company presents itself as the UK's number one supplier for service and quality, and operates from its factory in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Skirting boards in MDF, pine and oak

The bulk of the catalogue is skirting boards, available in three materials: MDF, pine and oak. Each material is organised into the same profile families, allowing you to choose the same design in different woods depending on the project.

• Bullnose: rounded profile.
• Square: square line with a modern look.
• Grooved: with a decorative groove.
• Chamfered: with a chamfered edge.
• Stepped: stepped profile for modern interiors.
• Ogee: timeless classic profile.

In addition to these families, the shop groups skirting boards by style (modern or traditional) and offers a specific category of thin skirting boards, as well as skirting board covers.

Architraves and hardwood mouldings

The architrave range replicates the same structure as the skirting boards: versions in MDF, pine and oak with bullnose, square, grooved, chamfered, stepped and ogee profiles, plus groupings by modern and traditional style. The company also sells a line of hardwood mouldings that includes cornices, kitchen mouldings, furniture mouldings, cover mouldings and panel mouldings, as well as nosing and edging, handrails and window boards.

Hardwood cladding

The catalogue includes an exclusive range of hardwood cladding, divided into external cladding and internal cladding. Added to this are complementary products such as beading, cornice mouldings, dado rails, picture rails and wall panelling.

Services for professionals and individuals

Skirting King serves both the general public and the trade sector through a quick quote service for trade. The website also offers a help centre with FAQs, a product brochure, information on delivery times, returns, painting and finishing, and on the manufacturing process for each order. The company offers bespoke options, specific profile heights and the possibility of hiding pipes and cables by rebating.

Manufacturing and delivery

Production takes place in the UK and the company highlights express delivery among its selling points. The catalogue includes door architrave sets and rebate solutions to hide installations. The shop accepts card payment and shows a basket with prices in pounds sterling.
