GDK Trading Ltd

GDK Trading, shooting accessories distributor in the UK

GDK Trading Ltd is an online distributor of shooting accessories that has been operating since 2005, serving both trade and retail customers in the UK and the European Union. The company presents itself as an established supplier in this segment and has progressively expanded its catalogue from clay shooting and gun security and storage to general shooting accessories.

Police-approved gun cabinets and safes

The gun cabinet range is designed for those who need a shotgun or firearm certificate. The range is divided between key locking systems and Vault locking systems, and includes models with an internal ammunition safe, digital keypad locks with backup keys, and wood-effect finishes. Notable references include 4, 5 and 6 gun cabinets, a 6 gun model with an internal ammunition safe and extra depth for scoped rifles, and a 16 gun biometric cabinet with an internal ammunition safe. The company states that its steel cabinets are police approved to BS7558/1992 and come with a five-year warranty.

Clay pigeon traps and accessories

The clay trap range covers everything from manual and automatic traps for home use to professional electric machines for clubs and commercial shooting grounds. The catalogue includes accessories such as remotes, wobblers, covers and batteries, as well as spare parts for repair and maintenance. Clay targets are also sold in Standard, Midi and Rabbit types, presented in boxes of 150 units and characterised by a low content of poly-aromatic substances to comply with the environmental requirements of certain countries.

Leather slips and accessories

The shotgun slip range includes everything from economical synthetic leather (PU) models to high-end full-grain leather slips and cases. Own-brand references include the GDK Slipstand slip, with a built-in stand, and the Guardian Leather line, which includes a full-grain leather slip and a single-barrel leather case. The catalogue is completed with cartridge bags and other leather accessories.

Other products and trade show presence

The range extends to items such as pigeon decoys, gun cleaning and care kits, carry cases for shotguns and rifles, electronic ear defenders, telescopic trigger shooting sticks, high seats and tree ladders, and home security safes. The company attends three trade shows in the UK — the British Shooting Show, The Game Fair (CLA) and the Midland Game Fair — where it displays its products so that traders and the public can see them before buying.

Shipping and service

GDK Trading states that most orders are dispatched the same day if placed before 14:00, with free UK delivery on orders over £100, and offers fast delivery across the UK and the EU. The company presents itself as the UK's premier supplier of police-approved gun cabinets, clay pigeon traps and shooting accessories, a position it attributes to its track record since 2005.
