About Cocklestorm Fencing

Cocklestorm Fencing was established on June 23, 1978, when brothers Ronnie and Stanley Sutcliffe began making and installing garden panels and gates from Taylor Lane in Breightmet. The business expanded into new workshops and the production of concrete posts and base panels. Today, its Radcliffe display area and store maintain that connection between manufacturing, sales, and installation.

The fencing range covers wooden panels, trellises, posts, bases, fittings, and protective treatments. The choice changes a garden’s appearance and degree of separation: vertical boards create a continuous face, while other panels and trellises provide different boundary designs. The catalog also includes foil-wrapped UPVC options with woodgrain finishes.

Gates follow several of these material groups. There are heavy-duty wooden models, custom wooden gates, steel-framed designs, and composite or UPVC alternatives. Combining them with posts and hardware is part of the project, particularly when an entrance needs to match an existing fence or a new installation.

Decking adds another way to use outdoor space. Cocklestorm offers timber, composite boards, decking panels, joists, and railings, including stainless steel options. Its selection covers both the visible surface and supporting and finishing components. Cladding, sheds, and garden buildings expand the possibilities for arranging storage or creating an outdoor room.

The company shows installations completed in Ramsbottom, Accrington, Haslingden, and Bolton. These include vertical fencing with wooden posts, composite boards used as screening, and gray UPVC fences. Such projects help customers compare materials in finished installations rather than choosing only from a size chart or a small sample.

The Radcliffe premises have an outdoor display of fencing, decking, sheds, and other products. The indoor store carries treatments, screws, nails, clips, and accessories. Samples can also be requested. Purchases are made in person, online, or through phone assistance, with deliveries arranged through the company’s vehicles or carriers according to the order.

Installation teams work on fencing, decking, and sheds, allowing customers to commission materials and assembly for the same project. The display area is at Radcliffe Freight Terminal, behind Dulux, on Bury Road, M26 2UT. A visit provides an opportunity to see different finishes together and discuss measurements, access, and ground conditions before finalizing the construction.
