In2gr8ted Solutions, solar PV system installer in Preston

In2gr8ted Solutions is a company based in Preston, in the northwest of England, dedicated to the installation of solar panels and battery storage across the UK. It operates under the company name In2gr8ted Solutions Ltd and presents itself as specialising in renewable energy and solar PV systems, an activity in which it claims to have found its niche after working in sectors such as home automation and electrical contracting.

The company reports a track record of more than 13 years designing and installing solar PV and battery storage systems, with more than 6,000 residential and commercial installations completed across the UK. According to its own presentation, it installs hundreds of solar PV systems each year with a team dedicated to efficiency and quality.

Solar PV systems and storage

In2gr8ted Solutions' catalogue is organised around three main areas: solar panels, battery storage and electric vehicle chargers. The company presents solar installation as a way to generate free electricity, store surplus energy in a battery for use overnight and charge an electric vehicle with solar electricity.

To guide customers through the variety of products available on the market, the company has simplified its offering into three levels of quality and price, called Good, Better and Best. Each level combines a set number of panels with a battery with specific features:

• Good: 10 Trina panels with a 5.18 kWh FOX ESS hybrid battery.
• Better: 10 Aiko panels with a 10 kWh FOX ESS All-in-One battery.
• Best: 10 Sunpower M-class panels with an 8.76 kWh SigEnergy battery.

The company maintains that it selects panels with the highest efficiency ratings available to maximise its customers' return on investment.

Upgrading existing installations

In2gr8ted Solutions also offers upgrades to solar systems already installed. It notes that, more than four years after installation, it may be advisable to renew part of the system, especially old inverters, which it describes as unreliable and usually covered only by a five-year warranty. In contrast, the company sells SolarEdge inverters with power optimisers which, it states, come with a 20-year warranty.

On warranties, the company highlights SunPower Maxeon panels, presented as having the longest warranty available and manufactured to high standards, which combined with Enphase microinverters provide guaranteed high-efficiency solar generation for more than 25 years.

Electric vehicle charging

Among its products for electric mobility, the company distributes the Zappi V2 charger, which it describes as the easiest way to add a charging point to a solar PV installation. The Zappi V2 integrates with the panels to charge the electric vehicle using the solar energy generated.

Commercial installation and coverage

In addition to residential installations, In2gr8ted Solutions carries out commercial installations. Its stated area of operation covers the whole of the UK, with its main headquarters in Preston and an office for the southeast of England in Tunbridge Wells, in the county of Kent.

Consultation and quote process

The company offers a free consultation and a detailed quote so the customer knows the estimated savings. It states that it aims to respond within 24 hours and that consultations carry no obligation to buy. For queries relating to the distribution network operator (DNO), it provides the address dno@in2gr8tedsolutions.com, and for those relating to HIES and MCS, office@in2gr8tedsolutions.com. The company states that it does not pass its customers' information on to third parties.
