Your Local Extra

Your Local Extra brings together a neighborhood shop and an online store in Featherstone, within the Pontefract area. Its catalog covers everyday needs rather than a single specialty: the store organizes products across groceries, drinks, household goods, children’s items, and pet care.

The grocery selection includes pantry items, snacks, chilled and frozen products, and ready-to-eat food. The website also groups sweets, chocolate, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and other hot drinks. That range makes the shop useful for a quick stop or a small restock, alongside the practical items people often look for at a local store.

The drinks section lists beer, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks, as well as alcohol-free alternatives. The store also carries tobacco and vaping products, adult-oriented categories that are distinct from its general merchandise. These sections appear in its online store; that does not mean every item is available at all times.

Customers can start an order on the website, browse the categories, add products to the cart, and check out online. The store advertises same-day delivery locally and next-day delivery nationwide. It also says local orders over £10 may qualify for free delivery, subject to its terms. These are separate delivery options, so customers should review the conditions shown when placing an order.

For shoppers who prefer to visit, the store’s contact page gives its address as 46 Green Lane, Pontefract. The location is in the Featherstone area referenced by the store’s name; this profile uses Pontefract as its geographic reference and does not confuse the shop with a warehouse or corporate office.

The store lists in-person hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. It also provides an email address and a WhatsApp number for inquiries. The hours in the initial directory record differed from the current contact page, so this profile uses the schedule the store publishes now.

Your Local Extra’s appeal lies in bringing in-person shopping, online ordering, and delivery together, with departments ranging from essentials to drinks, prepared food, and household goods. For residents of Pontefract and Featherstone, it can be a useful stop when several everyday needs can be handled in one place; online shoppers can check availability and delivery terms before confirming an order.
