In addition to prints, James Bell sells two landscape photography books under the title Capture Lakeland. The first volume, Capture Lakeland, is a large-format book (300 x 210 mm) with over 90 photographs of the Lake District, in a limited edition of 500 copies for its second edition, after the first print run of 1000 copies sold out. The second volume, Capture Lakeland Volume 2, is a 26 x 26 cm coffee table book with a new selection of images, limited to 1000 copies, with worldwide shipping. Ten exclusive editions included three limited edition prints, now sold out, and there is an extended option with 12 A4 prints.
An annual Lake District calendar is also offered. The 2023 edition contains 12 new photographs from locations such as Holme Fell, Ambleside, Helvellyn, Skelwith, Elterwater, Aira Force, Derwentwater, Ashness Bridge, Skiddaw, Borrowdale, Martindale and Buttermere. The calendar is A4 size closed and A3 when opened. The author indicated that, due to unforeseen circumstances, he would not produce a calendar for 2024, with the intention of resuming in 2025.
