Raw Heat Plumbing & Heating

Plumbing and heating in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire

Raw Heat Plumbing & Heating provides plumbing and heating services to both private homes and commercial properties in Peterborough and across Cambridgeshire. The company presents itself as a local provider able to handle everything from a one-off fault, such as a dripping tap, to the complete installation of a central heating system.

Its team consists of plumbers and heating engineers, and the firm states that it holds certification and insurance to work on gas installations. Its activity is organised around four areas: heating, plumbing, renewable energy, and services for landlords and property managers.

Heating and boilers

The heating area covers boiler installation and upgrades, as well as servicing and repairs. The company works with A-rated condensing boilers and energy-efficient controls, and notes that replacing a boiler over ten years old with an A-rated condensing model can reduce heating bills by 20% to 35%.

In addition to gas and oil boilers, the firm offers air source heat pump systems as a more sustainable alternative. According to the data it uses, a heat pump can be three to four times more efficient than LPG, oil, electric or gas boilers, and the estimated annual saving from replacing old G-rated equipment could reach £910 for gas, £2,200 for oil and £3,400 for LPG.

General plumbing

In the plumbing section, the company handles leaks and repairs, as well as full installations, in both homes and commercial premises. It also carries out bathroom installations. The service is based on diagnosing faults in boilers and heating systems of any age, with the aim of resolving them with as little disruption to the property as possible.

Landlords and property management

Raw Heat works with landlords, letting agents and property managers to keep homes safe, compliant and well maintained. In this area the company mentions landlord certificates among the services it provides.
