Cambridgeshire Carpets

Cambridgeshire Carpets starts with a practical idea: bring samples into the home so customers can see how materials look with their own light and furnishings. From Peterborough, the team visits homes in the area to measure, discuss how each room is used, and prepare a no-obligation written quote.

The range includes carpets in several finishes and wool blends, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), sheet vinyl, laminate, and engineered wood. Choices are considered room by room: stairs call for durability and careful fitting; a kitchen or bathroom may need a floor that is easy to clean and handles moisture; in a bedroom, comfort often matters most.

The service covers both supply and installation. Fitters measure, prepare the subfloor when needed, and install the flooring; they can also remove the old floor and move furniture when arranged during the visit. For LVT, the company says it checks moisture levels before installation. For projects involving several rooms, it can schedule the work in stages to limit disruption at home.

The company also works with businesses, landlords, developers, and new-build projects, supplying carpet tiles, safety flooring, and entrance matting. It lists guide prices for some ranges and a two-year workmanship guarantee; the final quote depends on the material, preparation required, and measurements taken during the visit. The Vicarage Farm Road showroom is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the stated coverage includes postal codes PE1–PE9.
