Sensory Hugs

Sensory Hugs, sensory and weighted products for rest

Sensory Hugs is a British online store run by a family that sells sensory and weighted products designed to provide comfort and promote rest. Its catalogue is aimed at both children and adults and, according to the company's own presentation, is intended for people living with anxiety, stress or sensory support needs. The firm presents itself as a UK family business and states that it has hundreds of customers in the country.

The company says its catalogue has been rated 4.9 stars on Trustpilot and that all orders within the UK include free 48-hour delivery. It accepts all major credit cards and PayPal.

Weighted teddies and animals

One of the main lines is weighted stuffed animals, designed to provide comfort at bedtime or during stressful moments. The catalogue includes a 35 cm, 4 lb sloth, a 35 cm, 4 lb elephant and a 35 cm, 4 lb grey rabbit. The elephant and rabbit models feature a zip and a removable microwaveable warm sack, and several of them can be personalised with a jumper in different colours.

Weighted blankets and compression sheets

The store offers weighted blankets available from 7 to 12 lb, with removable, washable covers in designs such as grey, dinosaurs or fairies, as well as a red knitted weighted blanket in 7 or 10 lb. This category is completed by a blue 5 lb, 55 x 48 cm lap pad.

The cotton compression sheets are presented as calming bedding and are available in designs such as fairies or dinosaurs, in single, small double, double and king sizes.

Body socks and other sensory items

Body socks are stretchy Lycra covers that, according to the store's description, provide deep pressure and are used both for play and for wrapping up and feeling secure. They are sold in small, medium, large and extra large sizes and in designs such as rainbow, glitter, fairies, dinosaurs, skeleton and planets.

The catalogue is completed with fidget toys, chew necklaces —including an adjustable model that can be worn as a necklace or bracelet and a set of six—, a peanut-shaped sensory ball for balance and movement, and a sleep kit called Sweet Dreams with a sheet in blue, grey or purple.

Shipping and payment methods
