DT Boxes

DT Boxes, dog crates manufactured in the United Kingdom

DT Boxes designs and manufactures dog transport crates intended for carrying the animal in a vehicle. The company presents its catalogue as a range of robust and sturdy crates, manufactured in the United Kingdom, and sells both parts for specific passenger cars and solutions for vans and work vehicles. Its offering is aimed at owners who want to transport their dog from one place to another safely and comfortably, and the company itself states that it sells in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Vehicle-specific models and van kits

The catalogue is largely organised by vehicle make, model and year, so that customers can find the crate compatible with their car. Among the published references are the DT 23 for the Volkswagen Golf from 2012 to 2019, the DT 17 for the BMW iX from 2021 and the DT 18 for the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports from 2019 onwards, the latter also valid for the hybrid version. For vans, the company offers double-stack kits such as the DT VM1, intended for the Ford Transit Custom from 2012 onwards, which is presented as an economical and simple alternative to a full vehicle conversion.

Materials and safety

The product pages describe crates made from lightweight and especially strong plastic, which makes them easy to lift and remove from the boot. The company highlights that its crates have undergone independent crash testing and refers to its own blog for further information about these tests. The range also includes specific crates for small terrier-type breeds.

Accessories and complements

Alongside the crates, DT Boxes sells a line of accessories for dog transport and care:

• Non-slip rubber bumper protectors, designed to prevent scratches and paint damage when the animal gets in or out.
• Non-slip veterinary bedding, warm and comfortable, adapted to the interior base of the crates.
• Quick tie-down straps to secure small crates inside larger boots, hooked to the side ventilation grilles.
• Pro-Cool rechargeable crate fan, which requires a USB-C charger and is sold with a USB-A cable separately.

Shipping and commercial coverage

The shop announces free delivery to mainland United Kingdom and Ireland, with a country and currency selection covering much of Europe. The site allows searching for the crate by entering the vehicle make, model and year, and offers FAQ and contact sections to resolve doubts before purchase.
