Dicksons of Perth

Dicksons of Perth brings together three stages of recreational-vehicle ownership under one business: buying, renting for a trip, and after-sales care. Based in Perth, Scotland, it offers new and used motorhomes and campervans, a rental fleet, and a service center with parts.

The sales catalog lets shoppers browse by make, condition, transmission, sleeping capacity, length, and body style. The website separates new, used, arriving-soon, and ex-rental vehicles. That structure helps people compare layouts and sizes before deciding, without treating one vehicle’s specifications as representative of the entire inventory.

New vehicles include brands such as Auto-Sleepers, Itineo, Malibu, Pilote, Rapido, and Roller Team; the used section features manufacturers such as Elddis, Swift, Bürstner, Adria, Knaus, and Carthago. Stock changes, so this profile describes the range rather than promising that a particular model is available.

The company also offers valuations for owners looking to sell a motorhome or campervan and lists financing options arranged through partners. The website has a caravan section alongside its main motorhome and campervan catalogs. The sales team operates from 170 Dunkeld Road, Perth PH1 3AA.

Rentals let customers try a vehicle before buying or plan a trip through Scotland without purchasing one. The fleet ranges from compact campervans to larger motorhomes, with options sleeping two to six people. Rental information highlights vehicles equipped with bedding, cooking facilities, and heating, as well as pet-friendly options.

The Try Before You Buy program connects the two sides of the business: if a customer decides to purchase after renting, the company says part of the rental fee can be put toward the purchase. It also suggests itineraries and places to visit from Perth, helping travelers picture how a route might change with the vehicle and time available.

After-sales operates from another site in North Muirton Industrial Estate, on Kilda Way, Perth PH1 3XS. The service and parts center lists mechanical and habitation maintenance, damp checks, and bodywork and paint repairs. Its workshop is approved by the Approved Workshop Scheme; it also offers secure overnight parking and a courtesy vehicle, subject to availability.

The locations are separated by function: sales is on Dunkeld Road, while rentals and after-sales are on Kilda Way. That distinction matters when planning a visit. Dicksons brings the catalog, rentals, and ongoing vehicle care together, while its contact page lists different hours for each department.
