Happy Hideouts, outdoor play equipment for families

Happy Hideouts is a British-based online shop that sells outdoor play and leisure equipment for families. Its catalogue is organised around trampolines, monkey bars and swing sets, climbing frames, Wendy houses, novelty kids' beds, go karts, above-ground pools, inflatable hot tubs and outdoor sports equipment. The company presents itself as a business run directly by its founders, Warren and Leanne, with no intermediary call centres.

Personal advice and direct support

The shop's approach is built on personalised service. The owners answer enquiries by phone and WhatsApp to help families choose the right product, with the stated aim of avoiding lengthy searches and confusing decisions. The company says it offers support seven days a week. It also has its own installation team that handles the assembly of the products purchased.

Trampolines and climbing frames range

The trampoline selection is classified by shape (round, rectangular, oval and in-ground) and by intended use (garden, adults and children). Available sizes include 10, 12 and 14 ft models. The shop also offers rebounders, monkey bars and swing sets, with variants for the garden, for adults and for exercise, as well as an installation service. The range is completed by above-ground pools, inflatable hot tubs, Wendy houses and go karts, including pedal models for adults and teenagers.

Brands stocked

The catalogue includes products from manufacturers such as ACON, Akrobat, BERG, Bestway, Exit Toys, Intex, JumpSport UK, Lay-Z-Spa, Lifetime, Mathy by Bols, Mercia, North Trampolines, RS Barcelona, Salta, Shire, Springfree, Thermotec, TP Toys and Rebounder. The company says it works closely with its suppliers to select products designed for active, long-lasting play.

The shop advertises free shipping, easy returns and a price match guarantee. It also offers an installation service provided by its own team. The site publishes a blog with guidance on products and outdoor activities, such as comparisons of trampolines and pool heat pumps.
