The Good Sheet: wood sheets and cut-to-size service in Nottingham

The Good Sheet is a sheet material supplier with a warehouse in Nottingham, aimed at both the trade sector and DIY enthusiasts. Its offering is built around the sale of sheets and timber, cut-to-size service and same-day collection from its Nottingham depot, with delivery across the East Midlands region.

Sheet and material catalogue

The catalogue is organised by product families. In plywood it offers structural, marine, shuttering, phenolic, birch and flooring boards, as well as handy boards and bulk plywood. MDF includes standard, moisture-resistant, decorative, veneered and wall panels, as well as wall panelling kits and hardboard. In OSB it has sheets, tongue & groove flooring and chipboard flooring. The structural timber section covers C16 and C24 timber, CLS timber, decking, battens and fence posts, with sizes ranging from 2x1 to 8x2. The range is completed by fixings (joist hangers, twist nails, wood screws and masonry screws), insulation (Celotex and Recticel PIR insulation boards, Loft Legs, Knauf Dritherm cavity slab, Knauf loft roll, TLX and Soprema multi-foil insulation) and plasterboard (standard, fire, moisture, vapour and insulated panels, as well as adhesives and fixings).

Cut to size and tolerances

The Nottingham warehouse has a vertical panel saw that allows plywood, MDF, OSB and other materials to be cut to the customer's exact dimensions. The service accepts both trims to fit sheets into a vehicle and custom panels for site work, with a stated tolerance of +/- 1-2 mm. Cut to size is available for plywood, marine plywood, shuttering plywood, MDF, moisture-resistant MDF and OSB.
