Private maths tuition in Beeston, Nottingham

Maths Tutor Nottingham is the private tutoring service run by Dave Wooldridge, a maths teacher with a BSc Hons in Mathematics and a PGCE in Maths Education, as well as Enhanced DBS (CRB) certification. His work focuses on preparing students of different ages and levels for maths exams and tests, with sessions held in the student's home or by video conference via Zoom.

Preparation for GCSE, A Level and access tests

The service covers preparation for GCSE and A Level maths exams, as well as preparation for QTS numeracy skills tests and access courses. The tutor's stated approach is based on the idea that confidence and constant practice are key to making progress in maths. The work is tailored to each student's needs, identifying gaps and reinforcing existing knowledge instead of repeating mistakes or misunderstandings.
