In presenting, courses are taught on on-camera skills, business presenting and voiceover coaching. Media relations training includes a media training course for small businesses, charities and corporates.
Methodology and delivery formats
The courses are taught at the client's premises, with a maximum of four delegates, and are eminently practical. Before each course, the instructors hold a Zoom video call with the client to find out the participants' level, the equipment available and the type of video to be produced, and they adapt the programme accordingly. The company also offers individual on-site training for £650 and classroom-based courses at Hilton hotels, with options such as professional smartphone filming (1 day) and professional editing with DaVinci Resolve (1 day).
The published price structure is as follows: half-day courses, £500; 1-day, £700; 2-day, £1,300; 3-day, £1,800, and 5-day, £2,700. These amounts correspond to the instructor, so that, for example, a one-day course at £700 works out at £175 per delegate if four people attend. There are discounts for the NHS, public services, small businesses and charities. The costs do not include accommodation, where necessary, or travel within the United Kingdom, which is billed at 55 pence per mile; travel outside the United Kingdom is charged at cost.
Production and recruitment
In addition to training, Video Mastery provides production services, which cover studio setup and production documentation. In the field of recruitment, the company offers recruitment services, freelance crews and apprenticeship programmes. The company maintains that an inexperienced or barely experienced team can be transformed into a professional video production crew in two or three days, at a lower cost than commissioning a single video from an agency or production company, and that producing videos in-house makes it possible to improve communication in all areas of the business and create content tailored to each target audience.

Video Mastery's teaching staff, called the Faculty, is made up of professionals from the audiovisual sector. Among them are Peter Middleton (corporate video production), Chris Roberts (BAFTA award-winning editor), Lloyd Ludgrove (scripting and storytelling), Darren Hutchinson (video production and marketing specialist), Rob Miller (film and documentary maker and lecturer), Gregg Smith (drone masterclass lead and filmmaker), Ian Sandall (BBC-trained producer), Sam Creamer (cinematographer and lecturer), Andy Benjamin (TV producer and BBC trainer) and Ed Stone (experienced camera operator).
