Family resort near Newquay with vacation cottages, camping, swimming pools, and leisure activities in the Cornish countryside.
About Atlantic Reach Resort
Atlantic Reach Resort brings together several ways to spend a vacation in Cornwall: self-catering cottages, camping, and activities within the resort. The family-run property is in Whitecross, about six miles from Newquay with access to the A30. Its position allows guests to combine countryside relaxation with beaches and visits along the north coast.
Four-bedroom Contemporary Cottages provide space for families and groups, while Garden Terrace and Carworgie Terrace properties serve smaller parties and couples. Accommodations with private hot tubs and dog-friendly alternatives are available. This range allows guests to select a cottage’s size and amenities without assuming that special features apply to every unit.
The campsite accommodates tents, travel trailers, and motorhomes across three fields. Pitches include electric hookups, and the grounds have shower and toilet blocks, family and accessible facilities, a playground, and The Hut, a café and snack bar for campers. Direct camping bookings include passes for leisure facilities, a benefit tied to that booking method.
The leisure club brings together indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, and three fitness studios, with more than one hundred weekly classes listed. Access is organized for members, local residents with proof of address, and guests with valid passes. The resort adds mini golf, arcade games, children’s areas, and a Segway park, allowing part of a trip to take place within the property.
The Manor Sports Bar and café round out dining. Beyond the resort, Fistral and Watergate Bay are among the beaches identified for exploring, while the Eden Project and Tintagel Castle extend family outings. Atlantic Reach allows guests to alternate these excursions with pool days and activities while retaining the independence of a vacation cottage or campsite.
