Dans Clock Shop

Dans Clock Shop is a family-run Gloucestershire business founded in 2012, focused mainly on battery-powered clock movements and replacement parts. Its online catalog serves people repairing an existing clock who need to identify a compatible movement, as well as customers looking for components to build one. The company offers guidance to help select a suitable part based on measurements and shaft type.

The store organizes parts by system and use, including standard, radio-controlled, and silent movements, hands in different sizes, shafts, and accessories. Product listings let shoppers check measurements such as diameter and shaft length before ordering—important details because not every movement fits every dial or case. For questions, Dans offers a clock-movement advice form.

Alongside components, the catalog includes handmade wooden clocks and decorative designs made from beer mats. It also provides assembly materials and help content, including movement guides, assembly instructions, videos, FAQs, and troubleshooting steps. These resources accompany the parts and help customers understand the replacement or assembly process.

The company sells through its website and links to its eBay and Amazon storefronts. It advertises tracked 24-hour shipping; orders received before 3:30 p.m. are dispatched the same day, with next-day delivery expected in most cases. This describes order processing and the postal service, not immediate pickup from a physical store.

The site places the business in Newent, Gloucestershire, and lists weekday customer service. It does not provide a reliable phone number; the number in the source record is malformed and has been omitted. Email and the advice form are the listed ways to ask about compatibility. The store’s focus on clock components sets it apart from a general watch retailer.
