Enhance Conservatories is a home improvement company based in the North East of England that designs and installs conservatories, orangeries, glazed extensions, uPVC windows and doors. Its stated area of operation covers Newcastle and the whole region, with a list of served locations including Alnwick, Ashington, Bedlington, Blaydon, Blyth, Chester Le Street, Consett, Corbridge, Cramlington, Darlington, Durham, Gateshead, Hartlepool, Hexham, Jarrow, Lanchester, Morpeth, Newcastle, Northallerton, North Shields, North Tyneside, Ponteland, Prudhoe, South Shields, Stanfordham, Swalwell, Tyne & Wear, Wallsend, Washington and Whitley Bay.

Bespoke conservatories and orangeries

The conservatory range includes Edwardian, Victorian, lean-to, modern, gable-end and glass-to-floor styles, as well as refurbishment services for existing conservatories and replacement roofs. The company presents these spaces as a way to extend the usable floor area of the home and complement the original building.

In the orangeries section, the firm offers classic and contemporary designs, and presents itself as installer of the year in this category. It also offers modern glazed orangeries.

Glazed extensions and uPVC windows

Glazed extensions are presented as an alternative to moving house: they allow you to gain a new room with a feel similar to that of a conventional room. Variants include kitchen extensions.

For windows, the company works with double-glazed uPVC profiles selected for their energy efficiency and performance. Available models include uPVC sliding sash windows, flush casement windows, standard casement windows and bay windows.

Doors and conservatory roofs

The door range focuses on thermal efficiency, security and durability, and includes composite doors, patio doors and bifold doors. Conservatory roof replacement is presented as a cost-effective way to improve the comfort and style of an existing space.

Showrooms and customer service

The company has three showrooms: Benton, Cramlington and Birtley. The website offers the possibility to request a free, no-obligation design and quote via a form that collects contact details, postcode and the type of product of interest. Flexible finance options are also available.

Track record and awards

In its presentation, Enhance Conservatories describes itself as a family-run, award-winning team. Among the awards it mentions are National Window Installer, National Conservatory Installer and National Customer Care Company, the latter two for two consecutive years, as well as National Orangery Installer, awarded by supplier Sierra Windows. The company also states that its products are made in Britain and that it does not subcontract installation.
