Waltons Garden Buildings

The story of Waltons begins in 1878 with beehives. E. C. Walton, a beekeeping lecturer, built affordable models for his students; orders for chicken coops from local farmers followed. That work in Nottinghamshire developed into a garden building company whose range now includes sheds, cabins, greenhouses, and spaces for working or relaxing.

Storage sheds meet different needs: putting away tools, protecting bicycles and lawn mowers, or creating a workspace. The range includes wood, metal, plastic, and composite materials, along with windowless models and potting sheds. Gable roofs and single-slope roofs allow different layouts according to the available space.

Log cabins and garden rooms take the offering beyond storage. Configurations are available for a home office, gym, game room, studio, or hobbies. There are insulated options, self-assembly models, and designs with UPVC windows and doors. The dimensions and features of each building determine its specific use.

Summerhouses include traditional, contemporary, and corner designs, some combined with a storage shed at the side. They can serve as a reading space or a room separate from the home. Saunas form another range, with models for different capacities, cabin shapes, and options with changing rooms or porches.

For growing plants, Waltons offers wooden greenhouses, lean-to models, and buildings combining growing space with storage. Glazing may be glass, styrene, or polycarbonate, depending on the product. Children’s play equipment includes playhouses, towers, swings, and structures with slides or climbing features; each combination has its own configuration and assembly requirements.

Pergolas, gazebos, arches, planters, log stores, furniture, and outdoor kitchens complete the range. The company also offers installation and ready-painted finishes for applicable buildings. Its guides explain how to prepare a base, choose between a log cabin and a summerhouse, or maintain timber—issues that affect the result as much as the design does.

Waltons is based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, and sells its buildings online with product advice and delivery coordination. Next-day delivery is limited to certain sheds and postal codes, with additional charges. Transportation, assembly, and timing are determined for each order: a small tool shed and a garden room require different preparations.
