Aircraft Model Store, scale aircraft models for collectors

Aircraft Model Store is a UK-based online shop dedicated to selling scale aircraft models and related accessories. Its catalogue is organised around three main families: diecast metal models, plastic models and toy planes, as well as accessories for building miniature airports.

Available brands and scales

The shop stocks models from manufacturers such as GeminiJets, Phoenix, NG Models, Herpa, JC Wings, Aviation400, Aviation200, SQ Wings, HX Models, Aeroclassics, PPC Holland, SkyMarks and Hogan. The main scales are 1/500, 1/400 and 1/200, with specific sections for each, including new releases and pre-orders for each brand.

Commercial and military models

The range covers commercial and military aviation, with models made from both plastic and diecast metal. Among the airlines and operators represented in the catalogue are Aer Lingus, Air France, British Airways, Emirates, Jet2, KLM, Lufthansa, Ryanair, TUI and Virgin Atlantic, as well as models from the Royal Air Force and the U.S. Air Force. The selection can be browsed by aircraft type, with categories for Boeing 737, 747 and 777, Airbus A350 and A380, and the Antonov AN-225.

Scales and sizes

The 1/400 scale models, described as compact and highly detailed, measure approximately 10 to 18 cm in length depending on the aircraft type, and are presented as an option for large collections or for building miniature airports. The 1/200 scale includes the largest models, with pieces starting at around 18 cm for small aircraft and reaching up to 40 cm for large jets, intended as display pieces for collectors.

Airports, accessories and other products

In addition to aircraft, the shop offers airport mats and accessories in 1/200, 1/400 and 1/500 scales, airport ground support equipment, large display models, posters, greetings cards, keyrings, Aviationtags, bundles and gift cards. It also has a section of toys and playsets aimed at younger children.
