Ruby Granite

Ruby Granite, manufacturer of granite and quartz worktops in North Wales and Cheshire

Ruby Granite presents itself as one of the leading granite and quartz fabricators in the North West of England. The company produces bespoke stone surfaces for a variety of clients and projects and operates its own factory, allowing it to handle the entire process of templating, manufacturing and installation.

The site states that the firm has been operating since 2004, although another section of the same website indicates its establishment in 2005. Its team combines craftsmen with over 100 years of accumulated experience and state-of-the-art CNC technology, according to the company's own description.

Materials and brands it works with

The materials catalogue includes granite, marble, Dekton, Neolith, Lapitech and the leading quartz brands, among which the website cites Atlas Plan, Silestone, Caesarstone, LA Quartz and LA Porcelain. The company states that all materials come from accredited suppliers within the UK.

Types of work and clients

The activity is organised into three areas:

• Residential: bespoke granite and quartz worktops for kitchens and bathrooms.
• Commercial: surfaces for businesses throughout the UK, such as office desks and bar and club worktops.
• Hospitality: character pieces for accommodation, with the aim of enhancing the guest experience.

Among the items it manufactures are kitchen worktops, vanity tops, bath panels, window sills, fireplaces, hearths for log burners, reception counters, desks, bar counters, tables, stairs, steps and bespoke pieces.

Showroom and buying process

The company has a large showroom at its premises with more than twelve kitchen displays, a viewing point into the factory and over 300 slabs available to see and choose from. The website describes a guided buying process in which the client is asked for information about plans or measurements, type of kitchen (existing or new), timescales, budget and desired material. The company mentions the possibility of a delivery time of as little as five days on part of its range.

Ruby Granite serves from two showrooms: one in Mochdre, in the county of Conwy (North Wales), and another in Sandycroft, near Chester. The company works in North Wales and the North West of England, and its page cites Chester, Wirral, Altrincham and Northwich as service areas.
