DB Stores (DB Pack)

DB Stores, importer of eco-friendly disposable tableware in Milton Keynes

DB Stores, which also operates under the DB Pack brand, is an importer and supplier based in Milton Keynes of eco-friendly disposable tableware and takeaway food packaging. The company, a brand of DB Enterprisee Ltd, sells its catalogue through the online store dbstores.uk and works directly with manufacturers to supply businesses across the UK.

Its positioning is based on direct importation: by cutting out intermediaries, it maintains large quantities of stock and supplies in case formats at wholesale prices, while still offering retail sales of single boxes. The company states it has over 133 SKUs in stock and offers delivery across the country.

Target customers

The catalogue is designed for both the professional channel and individual customers. Among the target customers mentioned by the company are independent cafes, restaurants, food trucks, takeaway outlets, catering companies, cash & carry businesses and wholesalers in the sector. For this type of buyer, it offers a trade account, volume pricing, priority stock allocation and delivery on demand, as well as the possibility of customising the branding of containers and cutlery.

Catalogue products

The range is organised into several product families, available as single units or full cases depending on the item:

• Biodegradable tableware: single and multi-compartment plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, made from sugarcane fibre, wood and recycled paper.
• Eco-friendly takeaway containers: bagasse clamshell containers, paper boxes and kraft bowls, designed for secure, leak-resistant transport.
• Aluminium and foil containers: oven-safe trays and containers for catering and food service, sold by the case.
• Reusable containers: a range of plastic containers for various hospitality and catering uses.

The catalogue is also structured into navigation categories such as plates and bowls, cups and lids, cutlery and napkins, food containers and paper bags.

Materials and environmental approach

The company presents its eco range as made from sugarcane fibre, wood and recycled paper, materials it describes as naturally decomposing. It also notes the existence of plastic-free options and compostable and biodegradable alternatives in plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. In its certification information, the company indicates that the term compostable only applies to those products covered by certificate TA8022307743.
