Action Hobbies

Action Hobbies, airsoft retailer based in Milton Keynes

Action Hobbies is a British airsoft specialist operating online from Milton Keynes. It presents itself as a family business active in the sector since 2006 and, according to its own description, has nearly two decades of experience. The company distributes to airsoft players and enthusiasts across the UK and Europe, and its team is described as made up of active players who provide practical advice.

Its purchasing policy focuses on trusted brands rather than the cheapest options, with the stated aim of prioritising quality and reliability. The shop operates exclusively online, with a collection and payment service at the premises, and in-person service is by invitation only.

Catalogue of airsoft guns and accessories

The main range consists of airsoft guns, with specific categories for assault rifles, submachine guns, pistols, sniper rifles, shotguns, support guns and grenade launchers. The shop distinguishes between electric, gas and spring models, and includes a full line of two-tone airsoft guns intended for those who do not practise airsoft or are not registered with UKARA.

Alongside the guns, the catalogue covers external and internal parts: magazines, stocks, handguards, outer barrels, flash hiders, bipods, kits and RIS/RAS rails, silencers, mounts and sound amplifiers. The internal section includes barrels, gears, cylinders, electric motors, gearboxes, springs, pistons, mosfets and wiring, among other components.

Tactical gear, consumables and camping

The tactical section brings together Molle vests and plate carriers, rucksacks, helmets, face and body protection, slings, shooting accessories, hydration systems and camouflage accessories. It also offers clothing and footwear: jackets, gilets, trousers, T-shirts, fleeces, gloves, tactical scarves and belts.

Consumables include batteries and chargers, gas and lubricants, gas grenades and BB ammunition with its accessories. The optics and targeting section covers red and green dot sights, telescopic sights, laser devices, iron sights, tactical torches, mounts and targets. The range is completed by camping and survival items such as tent accessories, torches, tarps, cooking equipment and water carriers.

Buying and selling used equipment and grading system

Action Hobbies buys used airsoft guns and equipment from individuals and resells them in its own used airsoft and boneyard section. The shop publicly explains its grading system, which assigns each item a letter according to its condition. Examples of this line appear in the catalogue, such as a G&G M4 CQB Combat Machine airsoft gun, grade C, a G&G M4 Full Metal Predator ETU, grade C, a Swiss Arms long gun bag, grade C, and an ICS L86 LSW, grade C.
