PrimalBox

PrimalBox, human-grade raw dog food in the UK

PrimalBox is a British online store dedicated to raw dog food. Its range is built around human-grade mince blocks, available in 454-gram and 1-kilogram formats, which customers can combine freely. The company also sells customisable boxes and a monthly subscription model with discounts and a regular free gift.

Mince blocks and available proteins

The protein selection includes more than 21 varieties of human-grade mince. Among the products in the range are lamb and tripe, duck with tripe, beef, turkey with tripe, white fish, Scottish venison and the "Threebird Feast". Complete recipes are presented in an 80:10:10 ratio. The store also offers raw treats made from tripe, lamb, wild boar and rabbit in 500-gram formats.

Customisable boxes and subscription

The core of the offering is the configurable boxes: customers choose the proteins and build their own order. There are 6, 12 and 24-block formats, as well as a monthly subscription box. The subscription includes an extra discount and a monthly gift. The range also features a selection of "mix & match" boxes from raw food brands such as SouthCliffes, K9 Raw and Buddylicius.

Meat sourcing and delivery logistics

The company states that all its meat comes from British farmers and is processed following UK practices, with an explicit mention of fair pay for producers. It also notes that the meat is not processed according to halal or kosher rites. Orders are shipped frozen or chilled in insulated packaging and delivered within 24 hours across the country; orders placed before noon are fulfilled within that timeframe. Delivery is free on orders over £250.

Editorial content and affiliate programme

The site maintains a section of articles on raw feeding and the BARF diet, with guides for puppies and for getting started with this type of diet. It also has an affiliate area with registration and login for partners.
