Platinum Car Sales Ltd

Family-run used vehicle dealership in Merthyr Tydfil

Platinum Car Sales Ltd is a family-run used car dealership based in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. Its location is about 30 seconds from the A470 and around 900 yards from the Cyfarthfa Retail Park outlet. The company presents itself with several years of experience in the used vehicle market.

The dealership states that each vehicle is individually sourced, so only quality units are added to its stock. Its catalogue is organised into two main lines: used cars and used vans.

Preparation and checks on every vehicle

According to the company's own information, all vehicles go through a preparation process before sale. This includes:

• HPI check on all vehicles.
• Full valeting and cleaning to the highest standard.
• General preparation prior to delivery.

Finance and warranties

Platinum Car Sales offers full finance facilities for the purchase of its vehicles. In addition, all cars and vans come with a warranty, and there is the option to take out extended warranties. The company also includes 12 months of AA breakdown cover.

Delivery and customer service

The dealership offers home delivery throughout the UK and serves its customers seven days a week. Its showroom staff are available to answer questions about the specific features of each vehicle before purchase.

The company advises that, as these are used vehicles, the standard specification can sometimes differ from that shown, and that prices, offers and vehicle details are subject to change without notification. It also notes that the road tax prices quoted are for used vehicles and that brand new vehicles may be subject to a higher charge in their first year.
