SoSoft Beds UK

SoSoft Beds UK: ottoman, adjustable beds and mattresses with British manufacturing

SoSoft Beds UK is an online bed and mattress retailer operating from the United Kingdom, focusing its catalogue on sleep solutions with integrated storage and lifting mechanisms. The company presents itself as a specialist in ottoman beds, electric adjustable beds, divan bases, luxury headboards and mattresses, and sells its products through its online store with free delivery across the country.

Its range is organised into several main collections: ottoman storage beds, adjustable and electric beds, mattresses and headboards, and a bed section arranged by size. Much of the production is described as British-made with made-to-measure options, allowing sizes, fabrics and mechanism configuration to be adapted.

Ottoman beds and storage options

SoSoft Beds UK's main segment is ottoman beds, designed to provide storage space without compromising the look of the room. The catalogue distinguishes between side lift and end lift, and includes extra deep and super deep storage variants, as well as bases without a headboard for those who already have one.

The company details different internal storage depths: 26 cm, 33 cm, 39 cm and 50 cm. The 50 cm option is marketed as Jumbo and is aimed at those who prioritise storage capacity for bulky bedding or seasonal items; where specified, the total bed height is around 61 cm. It also offers ottoman bases with a wide headboard and models in small sizes, such as single or small double.

Adjustable and electric beds

Within the adjustable beds section, the retailer brings together electric beds with remote-controlled lifting, profiling beds, electric ottoman combinations and models with storage. The selection includes options for specific needs, such as mobility beds, hospital beds for home use and height-adjustable beds.

The adjustable catalogue is organised by size —single, small double, double, king size and super king— and includes variants such as the Wall Hugger adjustable bed, designed to make the most of space against the wall, and dual models. The company also offers adjustable beds with storage and a clearance stock section.

Mattresses and headboards

The mattress range is classified by construction type, firmness and size. Options include pocket spring mattresses in different counts —1000, 2000, 3000 and 5000—, visco foam and memory foam mattresses, latex mattresses, cool gel models and the Quilted Puffin range. Firmness is organised into categories ranging from soft to medium-firm, with tension guides to choose according to sleeping position, and bi-seasonal mattresses and sprung mattresses with cotton and wool filling are included.

The company allows fabric samples to be ordered (order swatches) to choose upholstery and finish. For headboards, it offers designer models to complete the set, and in the beds by size section it covers standard UK sizes: single 3ft, small double 4ft, double 4ft 6in, king size 5ft and super king 6ft, plus a small single size of 2ft 6in.

Customisation, finance and services

SoSoft Beds UK allows the bed to be configured with a choice of fabric, colour, headboard and opening direction, and offers the possibility of designing your own bed. The company states that it has more than 100 fabrics and headboard options, and that it can manufacture ottoman bases with a custom height of up to 50 cm.

Services associated with the purchase include bed assembly and removal of the old one, recycling of the used mattress or bed, nationwide delivery and interest-free finance at 0% APR. The company declares a two-year guarantee and UK manufacturing. The site also shows promotional codes valid at the time of analysis: BLC10 for 10% off purchases over £1000 and BLC5 for 5% off purchases over £500.
