Custom Mattress

Custom Mattresses for Vehicles and Boats

Custom Mattress is a British manufacturer specialising in made-to-measure mattresses. Its range is designed to solve a specific problem: finding a mattress that fits into spaces with non-standard shapes and dimensions, common in caravans, motorhomes, campervans, boats and lorry cabs. The company works with custom sizes and shapes, so the mattress fits the available space without compromising on comfort.

The buying process is set up as a configuration: the customer chooses the vehicle type, defines the shape and size, and selects the comfort layers. The website offers a configurator to build the mattress and also allows you to get in touch directly if you need a larger size or a different shape from the usual ones.

Mattress Types by Vehicle

The range is organised according to the intended use, with specific lines for each type of space:

• Caravan mattresses
• Motorhome mattresses
• Campervan mattresses
• Boat mattresses
• Lorry cab mattresses

In addition to mattresses, the company sells custom-shaped mattress toppers, available in memory foam and gel foam variants.

Materials and Comfort Layers

The made-to-measure mattress range includes different types depending on the material and level of support: orthopaedic mattress, gel mattress and memory foam mattress. The company highlights the possibility of choosing from a wide range of comfort layers, so the customer can adjust the feel of firmness and the degree of softness. The topper range is presented as an option to add comfort to an existing mattress.

Available Formats and Shapes

Among the formats shown in the range are the rectangular mattress, the diagonal corner cutoff and the curved corner cutoff, designed to fit into corners and irregular profiles. The shop also lists standard sizes common in the sector, such as 2'6" x 6'3", 3' x 6'3", 4' x 6'3", 4'6" x 6'3", 5' x 6'6" and 6' x 6'6". The starting prices shown in the range are £139.99 for the rectangular custom mattress and £199.99 for the diagonal corner cutoff and curved corner cutoff variants.
