About Cut to Size Mirrors & Glass
Made-to-measure mirrors and glass for residential and commercial projects
Cut to Size Mirrors & Glass is a UK family-run company dedicated to manufacturing made-to-measure mirrors and glass products for homes, interiors and businesses. The company works with a focus on precision and a professional finish, and processes all the glass it sells in-house.
The range includes wall mirrors, made-to-measure glass, kitchen splashbacks, shower screens, balustrades, tabletops and shelving, among others. Every piece is cut to the customer's exact dimensions and specifications.
Online configurator and instant quote
The website lets you enter measurements in millimetres, centimetres or inches and get a quote instantly. Customers can choose the mirror type, thickness, edge type and fitting accessories, and the price updates in real time.
Mirrors are offered in three finishes: standard silver, bronze and grey. Available thicknesses are 4 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm; 4 mm is intended for framed mirrors and 6 mm for bathroom and gym mirrors. Edges can be polished or 25 mm bevelled.
The buying process is secure and online, with delivery costs added at checkout. The stated delivery time is up to 14 working days.
Glass and splashbacks
As well as mirrors, the company supplies made-to-measure glass and custom kitchen splashbacks. The website offers specific instant quotes for glass and for splashbacks, using the same measurement-based configuration system.
Measuring and fitting service
Cut to Size Mirrors & Glass offers a complete supply, measuring and fitting service. For projects that require fitting or a measuring and fitting service, the company prepares tailored quotes based on the project details and location. Once arranged, the team will be in touch to organise a convenient time for a fitter to visit.
Deliveries are made using the company's own vans and trusted drivers, ensuring careful handling of the material.
Materials, accessories and safety standards
Mirrors can include a metal foil safety backing, which acts as a protective layer and protects the silver coating from moisture and salt. This backing allows mirrors to comply with safety standard BS6206 Category C, frequently required by building regulations in public areas, commercial environments, kitchens, bathrooms and high-traffic areas.
The company points out that metal foil backing is not the same as standard plastic backing, and advises against using plastic films on wall mirrors because chemicals on the surface can react over time and cause the adhesive to come away.
For installation, fixing options are offered with screws and holes, or with mirror adhesive. Fixing holes are positioned 50 mm from the edges of the mirror and standard screws are 1¼ inches, although other lengths and fixings are available in the shop. The company recommends not using screws on mirrors larger than 1 m² and, for large installations that require screws, using a 6 mm thickness instead of 4 mm. For most applications, mirror adhesive is the safest, strongest and simplest installation method, and one tube is calculated per square metre of surface area.
Customer profile and coverage
The company serves both homeowners updating their spaces and contractors who need precision architectural glass. Delivery coverage spans the whole of mainland UK.
