Food and drink vendors
The venue brings together several food operators, each with its own menu and booking system:
- BRASA: a project by Caroline Martins, of SAMPA, focused on modern Brazilian open-fire barbecue. Its offering includes smoked picanha, dry-aged bone-in prime ribs and house-made charcuterie, all made for sharing.
- NELL's Pizza: a leading Manchester pizzeria serving 22-inch thin and crispy pizzas, freshly made slices and ice cream sandwiches.
- Mia's Arepas: Venezuelan street food with freshly made arepas, crispy corn flour patties and a range of fillings.
- Oh My Cheesecake: a bakery specialising in cheesecakes on a stick and classic desserts with creative twists.
- FUKU: Asian fusion cuisine that blends family traditions with modern flavours; its offerings include a half-and-half combo of chips and rice.
- Burgerism: smashed patty burgers and double-fried skin-on chips.
Music, sport and entertainment
In addition to its food and drink offering, Freight Island hosts DJ sets, entertainment shows and live sport screenings. The venue describes itself as a place to gather to create new memories and explore new possibilities, with an offering that combines several dimensions in a single space.
