GEC Home, window and door installation in Cheshire

GEC Home is a company based in Macclesfield, in the English county of Cheshire, dedicated to home improvement through the installation of windows and doors. The company presents itself as a specialist in the sector with over twenty years of experience and states that it works with some of the leading manufacturers on the market to offer made-to-measure products.

Window range

The company's range covers several window families, including uPVC, sash and aluminium windows. Its offering also includes the Residence Collection and the Residence R9 range.

Doors and access solutions

In the doors section, GEC Home supplies composite doors, uPVC doors, bi-folding doors, French doors, sliding doors, entrance doors and garage doors. The range is completed with sectional doors, side hinged doors and roof lanterns.

Working process

The company describes a working method that begins with a telephone consultation in which the available options are reviewed and a free quote is prepared based on estimated measurements. If the customer accepts the quote, it visits the property to take accurate measurements before placing the order. Throughout the process it keeps the customer informed and, when the product arrives, sets the installation date. The team carries out the installation at the home and, on completion, walks the customer through the work to check their satisfaction.

Warranty and finance

According to the information published, frame products come with a ten-year warranty and glazing with five years. The company also states that it offers finance to all its customers.

Showroom and customer service

GEC Home notes that it is finalising the opening of a showroom where customers will be able to see the products. The company handles enquiries by phone and email and, according to its website, its team aims to respond within 24 hours.
