According to its own presentation, it has been supplying bonsai across the UK since 2004.

The shop organises its range into several categories: indoor bonsai, outdoor bonsai, beginner trees, flowering species and mature or premium specimens. Among the varieties listed are Chinese Elm, Japanese Maple, Juniper, Ficus, Podocarpus, Japanese Holly and Dawn Redwood. It also sells trees intended for specific rooms, such as bathrooms or living rooms.

Featured products include a Chinese Elm in a matching ceramic pot and tray, a Chinese Elm kit of approximately twelve years old in a red pot, and a liquid feed and leaf scissors bundle.

Pots, tools and care

In addition to trees, the company sells ceramic and plastic pots, grower pots, used pots and large and small models. In the tools section it offers beginner kits, carbon steel and stainless steel instruments, and modelling wire. The range is completed with bonsai soil from £6.99, fertiliser from £2.50 and accessories from £1.50, available in liquid, slow-release and foliar feed formats.

Advice and care guides

The company maintains a care hub with guides on Chinese Elm and Carmona, as well as instructions on watering, feeding, repotting and pruning. Its team selects trees for shape, condition and suitability before preparing them for delivery or collection from the nursery, and offers advice on choosing a species according to the space available, natural light and the level of commitment the customer wishes to take on.

Gifts and occasions

The gift catalogue is organised by occasion: birthdays, Christmas, weddings, wedding anniversaries (including the 4th, 5th and 47th), Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day. Gift cards are also offered for those who prefer to let the recipient choose.

Delivery and collection

Bonsai2U delivers throughout the UK and applies free delivery on orders over £30. Trees are dispatched from Monday to Thursday to reduce transit delays and ensure they arrive in the best condition. Customers in the Leicester area can visit the nursery or collect an online order in person.
