House Plants by Laura is a shop specialising in houseplants with a physical presence in Louth and sales through its own online store. Its catalogue is organised around plants, pots, gifts, faux plants and plant care products, and also includes a new in section and a favourites section selected by the business owner herself.

Plant and pot catalogue

The plant range covers houseplants in various formats, with dedicated sections for hanging and climbing plants and for larger specimens. Among the items the shop displayed were Ctenanthe Amagris, Orange Spider or Fire Flash, Senecio Stapeliformis, Peperomia Rotundifolia and Pilea Peperomioides Mojito, with prices ranging from £4.00 to £14.00 and availability varying by specimen.

The catalogue is completed with pots and presentation accessories, such as a ceramic rabbit-shaped pot and a red wooden decorative mushroom, designed to accompany the plants.

Gifts and gift items

The shop brings together a selection of gifts aimed at those looking for a little something for plant lovers. It includes a milk bottle-shaped vase, sets of two tins in marmalade, honey and Tuc Tuc variants, a set of two storage tins with a cherry motif, decorative signs and a garden soap with a rose scent. The prices of these items ranged from £3.50 to £10.00, and some were marked as last stock.

It also offers gift cards, usable both in the physical shop and in the online store.

Terrarium workshops

As well as selling products, the business runs terrarium workshops for those who want to build their own terrarium. Booking for these activities is handled through the website itself.

Plant care and faux plants

The catalogue includes a plant care section with the products needed for plant maintenance, as well as a faux plants section for those who prefer a maintenance-free alternative.

Shipping, packaging and customer service

Orders placed on the same day are prepared for shipping within one to three working days, with free delivery for orders over £60. Packaging is done with recycled boxes, in line with the reuse and recycling approach the company states it applies wherever possible. Customer service is handled by email, with a usual response within 24 hours.
