Endo at the Rotunda is an omakase sushi restaurant in London led by Chef Endo Kazutoshi. Its approach is built around omakase, a term the restaurant itself translates as "I leave it up to you": the chef guides each guest through an ever-changing, seasonal, elegant and artistic menu, leading them through each of its elements.

The omakase concept and the menu

The experience is built on a menu that varies with the seasons and that the chef presents and explains dish by dish. The restaurant describes this journey as a truly memorable dining experience, with the guest entrusting the choice to the chef's judgement.

The Machiai space

Arrival at the restaurant begins in the machiai (待合), a seating area inspired by traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. More than just a bar, this space reflects the concept of Onkochishin: creating something new by translating the knowledge of the past into the future.

The philosophy of Endo Kazutoshi

The chef himself describes The Rotunda as an extension of who he is, both as a chef and as a person. According to his introduction, every detail — from the crockery to how guests are welcomed into the Machiai — carries meaning and intention, and the experience is built on the spirit of Omotenashi, understood as hospitality rooted in empathy, where every guest feels seen, cared for and welcomed.

New opening in Chelsea

The site announces a new chapter for Creative Restaurant Group and for Endo San: the opening of an omakase restaurant in Chelsea planned for October. The restaurant presents it as a milestone for the group and as a continuation of the evolution of the Endo story, with its distinctive approach to omakase dining.
