Right Room

Right Room: room rentals for professionals in London

Right Room is an estate agency based in the London district of Bloomsbury that focuses its activity on renting rooms in shared flats (flatshares) for professionals in London. The company presents itself as an alternative to the conventional letting agency and frames its proposition around simplifying the room rental process until it is as easy as booking accommodation on platforms such as Airbnb or a hotel.

Services for tenants and landlords

The agency's activity is organised around two fronts. For tenants, it offers room search and a registration service. For landlords, it covers letting their properties, a guaranteed rent option and free property valuation. The company describes this valuation as a service with no cost or obligation, aimed at helping the landlord understand the market value of their property.

Approach and working principles

The firm states that it is guided by three principles: trust, integrity and honesty. In its presentation it maintains that, more important than finding the right room, is taking care of the tenant experience, and it defines itself as a people business rather than a property business. It also states that it continuously improves its level of customer service.

Specialisation in shared flats

The segment it concentrates on is flatshares for professionals in London, a niche that the agency explicitly distinguishes from general residential letting. The company also mentions a careers line among its services within its contact structure.

Office in Bloomsbury

Right Room operates from its office on Hastings Street, in Bloomsbury, London. The agency also runs a website with sections for room search, blog and customer testimonials.
