About Octavia Group
Octavia Group: affordable housing and community support in central and west London
Octavia Group is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing affordable housing to those who need it most for 150 years. The organisation manages around 5,000 affordable homes in central and west London, some of the most expensive areas in the UK. Its work is divided into three main areas: housing, community support and care and support services.
Affordable housing and managing homes
The organisation presents itself as a provider of good quality, affordable, well-planned and well-managed homes, with a high-quality repairs service. For residents, Octavia Housing serves as a self-service and information site dedicated to tenants, where they can access services and find information about their home.
Octavia Foundation: community support
Through the Octavia Foundation, the organisation supports thousands of local people during times of personal difficulty or crisis. The foundation is funded by its popular high street charity shops and runs projects to help the communities where the organisation operates.
Octavia Support: care and support for older and vulnerable people
Octavia Support provides not-for-profit care and support services to hundreds of older and vulnerable adults. The offer includes personal and community care services, supported and sheltered living options, day care activities, mobile care services and specialist extra-care schemes. These services are not limited to Octavia Housing residents, but are also available to individuals and families living in the boroughs where the organisation owns homes.
Developments: Park Lodge House in Hounslow
Among its developments is Park Lodge House, in Hounslow, an exemplar extra care scheme for older people with varying needs. The scheme has 36 self-contained flats, 24-hour staffing and a large communal lounge and garden.
