The Footlift London Clinic

The Footlift London Clinic: medical podiatry in central London

The Footlift London Clinic is a medical podiatry clinic based in London (England) that serves its community and clients with personalised care and foot health education. The clinic presents itself as a carefully designed clinical space that combines innovative techniques and aesthetics. Its team is made up of podiatrists registered with the HCPC (Healthcare and Professional Care register), each with their own individual registration number, and all are members of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. The founder and senior podiatrist is Simone, who serves as CEO.

Podiatry treatments and services

The clinic specialises in the treatment of common foot conditions, gait analysis and custom orthotics for footwear. Treatments apply common techniques but are adapted to each client's presentation, concerns and needs. Services offered include:

• The Footlift: signature podiatry treatment, transformative and therapeutic, in which the podiatrist addresses all aspects of the foot with special attention to nails and skin.
• Medical pedicure: the podiatrist assesses the feet while transforming them; nails are trimmed, filed and hardened skin is reduced with dry filing.
• Medical pedicure for diabetics: includes an initial sensory nerve and vascular test to check adequate blood flow and sensation.
• Focused shockwave therapy: the podiatrist assesses the foot and ankle to precisely locate the source of pain; using focused shockwave technology, acoustic waves stimulate blood flow, accelerate tissue repair, reduce chronic inflammation and promote natural healing of damaged tendons and ligaments. The treatment is non-invasive, requires no injections or downtime and allows you to return to normal activities immediately.
• Non-thermal cold laser: laser session in which anatomy is assessed and nerve pathways that cause pain and discomfort are followed.
• Biomechanical foot assessment: thorough assessment in which podiatrists check the joints, muscles and range of motion of the lower limb through non-weight-bearing, standing and walking assessments.
