Belmond is an international collection of travel accommodations and experiences that brings together hotels, trains, river cruises and safari lodges. Its origins date back to 1976, with the opening of Hotel Cipriani in Venice, and since 1982 it has operated the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. The company operates a series of historic and luxury trains, including the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, the British Pullman, the Royal Scotsman, the Britannic Explorer, the Andean Explorer, the Hiram Bingham and the Eastern & Oriental Express. The offering is completed by river cruises, such as Les Bateaux Belmond in France, and by the private carriage Celia, conceived for celebrations.

Safari lodges

In Botswana, Belmond manages the safari lodges Eagle Island Lodge and Savute Elephant Lodge, located in the Okavango Delta and in the surroundings of Chobe National Park, respectively.
