Belsize Hardware

Neighbourhood hardware store in Belsize Park, London

Belsize Hardware is a local hardware store located next to Belsize Underground station, in the London neighbourhood of Belsize Park. It presents itself as a convenience store focused on DIY and home maintenance, with direct counter sales and a catalogue that, it says, exceeds 10,000 different products.

In addition to selling items, the company offers the possibility of hiring a handyman to carry out the jobs the customer needs, a service that complements its purely commercial activity.

Range for cleaning, electrical and general hardware

The catalogue is organised into several product families. In cleaning, the store states it has items such as hand wash, mould sprays, cloths and brushes. In the electrical section, it offers LED bulbs, extension cables, batteries and other components. The general hardware (ironmongery) section includes everything from door furniture and handles to locks, bolts and chains.

Hand and power tools, test and measure, and plumbing

For DIY jobs, the hardware store has hand and power tools, including screwdrivers and hammers. It also sells electrical testing and measuring instruments, such as clamp meters and multimeters. In plumbing, the store caters to those who want to repair their bathroom or other home installations themselves, with advice on choosing quality products.

Painting, decorating, timber and gardening

The painting and decorating section covers a sample of categories that the company describes as representative of its stock. In timber, the store indicates that plywood, among other materials, can be found. Household goods and gardening products complete the offer.

In-store shopping and handyman service

Belsize Hardware operates as a physical establishment where you can walk in without an appointment to discover the available range. The company encourages you to get in touch for help and guidance on products or on hiring the handyman service.
