Just Air Guns

Just Air Guns, airgun retailer with home delivery in the United Kingdom

Just Air Guns is a British establishment dedicated to the sale of airguns —air rifles and air pistols— and all associated equipment. Its online catalogue brings together, according to its own presentation, one of the largest selections of airguns in the country, with entry-level and high-end models from more than one hundred brands. The company describes itself as the UK's leading airgun retailer and states that it updates its offering with new products every week.

Air rifles: spring, gas ram, PCP, CO2 and electric

The shop organises rifles according to their propulsion system. Spring and gas ram rifles use a piston and spring mechanism, while PCP (pre-charged pneumatic) rifles use compressed air stored in a cylinder, which the company associates with greater precision and consistency for sport shooting, hunting and competition. It also sells CO2, electric and junior rifles designed for beginners, as well as complete sets and competition rifles. Among the brands mentioned are Norica, BSA, Air Arms, FX Airguns, Winchester and Nova Vista.

Air pistols and replicas

The pistol section includes CO2, PCP and spring models, CO2 revolvers, blowback replica pistols and pistols from brands such as Umarex, Glock and Krown Land. The website shows specific examples from the catalogue, such as the Umarex 2011 CO2 4.5 mm BB pistol or the KJ Works KP-09 with blowback, with prices and limited-time discounts reflecting the offer available at the time of analysis.

Ammunition, optics and shooting accessories

Alongside the guns, the range covers pellets in .177, .22 and .25 calibres, 4.5 mm steel BBs and darts, classified by type (BB, flat, domed, pointed or hollowpoint). In optics it offers scopes and sights from Hawke, Element, DiscoveryOpt and Precision Optics, as well as mounts, night vision and rangefinders. The offer is completed with accessories such as bipods, shooting rests, lasers and torches, airgun moderators and suppressors, adaptors, chronographs, slings, cases and bags, holsters, shooting glasses, ear defenders, binoculars, gun safes and security systems, CO2 consumables, PCP filling pumps and compressors, batteries and chargers, targets and maintenance items.

Shooting clothing, archery and slingshots

The catalogue extends to clothing and accessories for shooting, such as vests, jackets, fleeces, gloves, scarves, caps, belts, knee pads, balaclavas, patches and rucksacks. It also includes an archery section with crossbows, compound bows and youth bows, arrows, targets and accessories, as well as slingshots from Trimex Arms, Barnett and other brands, with their ammunition and spare parts.

Pre-owned items and parts

The shop has a pre-owned section comprising used air rifles and pistols and accessories, and another for spare parts with O-rings, fill probes, adaptors, cylinders, stocks, magazines, grips and scope tools.

Delivery and terms of sale

Just Air Guns states that it serves its customers from a shop in London and through online sales, with home delivery by its own drivers available seven days a week. It presents itself as one of the few British retailers that delivers airguns directly to the home, and uses courier services for orders that are not guns, such as accessories and pellets.

The website specifies that all airguns sold are below 12 ft·lbf and pistols below 6 ft·lbf, so they can be purchased without a firearms licence in England; in Scotland an air weapon certificate is required. Purchase and possession require being over 18, and shooting can only be practised on private land with authorisation. The company warns that it is illegal to shoot across roads or damage protected wildlife, and that guns must be transported unloaded and in a secure case.
