Funerals With Grace: funeral plans and direct cremations in the UK

Funerals With Grace is a British entity dedicated to funeral planning and the arrangement of immediate funerals. It operates under the company name Plan with Grace Limited, registered in England and Wales with number 09777885, and is headquartered at Thomas House, 84 Eccleston Square, Pimlico, London. The company presents itself as a funeral plan provider regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and states that plan funds are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000.

Funeral and planning services

The company offers two main service routes. On the one hand, the advance purchase of prepaid funeral plans, which allow planholders to organise and finance their own funeral in advance. On the other, the arrangement of immediate funerals and direct cremations for recent deaths. The catalogue ranges from direct cremations without a ceremony to cremations with a full service, with flexible options localised according to the client's area.

Among the standout features of its services, the firm mentions that direct cremation plans cover all crematorium fees, collection of the deceased from anywhere in the UK, and hand delivery of ashes within 28 days. The company also offers companion plans with a £50 discount per plan when more than one is purchased over the phone.

Prepaid funeral plans

Funerals With Grace's prepaid plans are regulated by the FCA and are presented as a way to protect against rising funeral costs and avoid unexpected financial burdens for the family. The company states that funds are deposited in the Plan With Grace Funeral Payment Trust, managed by Capricorn Private Investments. The company offers various payment options and encourages comparing its prices with those of other providers in the UK market.

Immediate funerals and direct cremations

For those who need to arrange a funeral following a recent death, the company offers direct cremations and affordable funerals. The starting price listed on the site is £1,140 for a direct cremation and £1,595 for a funeral plan. The firm states that its prices are independently verified each week against other leading UK providers, with data updated as of August 2026 according to the information published.

Awards and regulation

Funerals With Grace highlights that its direct cremation plan has received a 5-star rating from Fairer Finance, a UK consumer and research organisation, for its transparency and quality. The company emphasises that Fairer Finance does not accept commissions from the companies it evaluates. The firm is also a supplier member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and a member of the National Association of Funeral Plan Providers (NAFPP). The company also mentions that its immediate funeral services are provided through its subsidiary The Funeral Market, which is not a regulated activity.

Planning and bereavement resources

The company's website includes a section of guides and advice aimed at helping with funeral planning and coping with bereavement. Topics covered include how to prepare for the death of a loved one, what to do when someone dies, and how to take care of yourself during the grieving process. The company states that its team of specialists is available to answer queries and that it offers telephone support 24 hours a day.

Estate planning services

In addition to funeral services, Funerals With Grace offers estate planning services including will writing, probate, and lasting powers of attorney (LPAs). These services complement the company's core offering and are aimed at those who wish to organise their legacy in advance.
