Floor Restoration in London: Natural Stone, Marble and Wood

Floor Care 4 Less Ltd is a London-based floor restoration company that works on natural and man-made surfaces. The firm states it has over 25 years of experience in the floor care industry and offers solutions tailored to each type of flooring. Its area of operation is Greater London, within the M25.

The team presents itself as specialising in stone restoration, polishing and sealing, with renewal procedures and post-restoration care for natural and man-made stone. Among the materials it handles are marble, granite, travertine, limestone, slate and terrazzo, among others.

Restoration and Maintenance Services

The company structures its offering across several fronts. The main service is the restoration and sealing of natural stone floors, which includes an eight-stage diamond grinding process, vitrification and sealing. According to the company, this method removes the damaged layer and reveals a new layer of stone, with a result it presents as superior to the original. The sealant used is impregnating, penetrates the stone and protects it against spills and stains.

Alongside one-off restoration, it offers a natural stone maintenance service based on vitrification and sealing, aimed at keeping the surface clean and protected on a regular basis.

For natural stone, man-made stone, porcelain, ceramic and terracotta, it carries out professional cleaning and sealing with products and tools specific to each surface, applying the sealant once the surface is dry.

Wooden Floors and Other Surfaces

In the wood section, the company states it is qualified for sanding, staining and finishing wooden floors, with the option of an oil or lacquer finish. It also states it has professionals trained for wooden floor installation.

It also cleans and seals lino, vinyl and Altro, Karndean and Amtico floors, using chemicals and sealers available on the market.

Outdoor Power Washing

The company carries out power washing of patios, driveways and decking. The process includes treating the surface with specific products to remove lichens and green and black spots and, once dry, applying three coats of impregnating seal to prolong the clean condition.

Clients and Technical Capability

Floor Care 4 Less states that it works with government organisations, hotels, commercial properties and corporate clients, as well as residential customers. To do so it uses dedicated quarry grinders, planetary floor machines and specialised masonry tools. Its equipment allows both wet and dry grinding, in order to adapt the restoration solution to each case.
