Tipsy Parties

Tipsy Parties, mobile cocktail bar for events across the UK

Tipsy Parties is a British mobile cocktail company operating across the UK. It was incorporated in 2013 and its public presentation highlights a track record of hundreds of five-star reviews. Its activity is built around two main lines: cocktail making classes and bar services with its own staff, aimed at both private celebrations and corporate events.

Cocktail classes: format, themes and dynamics

The class programme is delivered as a mobile masterclass, with an approach the company describes as fun, lightly informative and interactive, and includes party games. Participants make their own cocktails with the assistance of an expert bartender. The themed offering ranges from the classic cocktail class to tropical-style proposals or ones inspired by the American Prohibition era.

Bar service and bartenders for events

The second line of business consists of hiring the so-called Tipsy Mixologists to run the bar during a party or event, so that hosts can relax while the team serves the cocktails. The available menu features more than sixty cocktails and the company structures the service in several tiers, from a fully inclusive cocktail package to hiring a bartender. Each of these formats can be tailored to the characteristics of the celebration.

Target audience

The company caters for all types of parties and events. Among the audiences it expressly mentions are hen parties, stag parties, birthdays, weddings and corporate events. The service is provided at the client's home, in hotels or in rented accommodation, anywhere in the UK.

Booking, management and coverage

Bookings can be made, paid for and managed entirely online, although the company also has a full-time bookings team for telephone assistance. For specific requests it offers the possibility of asking for a bespoke quote, as well as an instant quote system. The company states that it holds full public liability insurance.

Territorial presence and offices

Tipsy Parties operates across the UK and maintains two offices: the head office in London and an office for Scotland in Glasgow. Its activity is also organised by city, with specific pages for London, Bristol, Cardiff, Bath, Nottingham, Liverpool, Brighton, Edinburgh and Manchester, among others. The company also maintains a line of activity under the name Tipsy Parties USA.

Other activities and related content

Alongside the classes and bar service, the company sells gin, tequila and tea tasting experiences, as well as a cocktail offering for hen parties. Its website includes gallery sections, FAQs and a careers page, and refers to Drinkaware on responsible drinking.
