About Cworkshop

Cworkshop: board cutting and machining for the furniture industry in London

Cworkshop is a British company dedicated to bespoke board cutting and the machining of wood components for the furniture industry and interior design. Founded in 2010 by two carpenters, Felix and Antony, it was created with the aim of offering a cutting and edgebanding service of higher quality than what was available on the market. The company operates from two locations in the London area and delivers nationwide.

Board processing services

The service catalogue includes bespoke cutting of decorative boards, which are cut to the dimensions specified by the customer. Panel edgebanding is carried out with machines equipped with PUR glue. The CNC machining department handles irregular shape cutting, decorative pattern routing, drilling and grooving. The spray painting service allows the application of white primer, clear lacquer or finishes in any colour, with online booking available through the website.

Products for furniture and interior design

The company manufactures bespoke sliding wardrobe doors, with production times of under five days. It also produces Shaker-style doors and drawer fronts in less than five working days. The Signature line comprises wardrobe doors with decorative mirror, made to measure in eight designs, with custom paint colours and silver, grey or bronze mirror. It is completed with wall panelling in various designs and materials, and a range of furniture fittings from leading brands, available for immediate collection or next day delivery.

Materials and collections

The board catalogue includes collections from manufacturers such as Egger, Kronospan, Cleaf, Xylo Surfaces, Saviola, Swiss Krono, Alvic, Senoplast and Serica, as well as MDF boards, veneered boards and plywood. Boards are classified by core (chipboard, MDF and plywood), by texture (synced, wood, stone and textile) and by finish (supermatt and high gloss).

Company evolution

In 2015 the company increased its floor space fivefold and moved to a newly built industrial unit in North London, which allowed it to expand products and services and speed up production. In 2020, after several years of development, it implemented an online ordering platform that allows customers to submit their cutting list and receive a quotation in seconds. In 2025 it relocated to Welham Green, significantly increasing its capacity, equipment and facilities, and opened a second cutting and edgebanding facility in South London, in Swanley.

Customers and organisation

The company serves furniture makers, interior designers and general builders. Its workforce is organised into production, sales, logistics and marketing teams, with branch managers for the North and South London locations, and a director of production at the North London site. The company states its intention to become the largest and most innovative organisation in its sector in the United Kingdom, known for the speed of service and product quality.
