Sambrook's Brewery

Sambrook's Brewery, craft beer in Wandsworth's historic Ram Quarter

Sambrook's Brewery is an independent London brewery operating at what it describes as the city's oldest continuously operating brewing site. Its activities combine brewing its own beer with a two-floor taproom, an outdoor terrace and a beer home delivery service.

The taproom: hospitality in a former Victorian brewery

The taproom occupies a converted former Victorian brewery, located beneath the chimney that dominates the Wandsworth skyline. The space is spread over two floors: a warm and inviting downstairs bar and a mezzanine with its own bar, designed for sporting events, birthday parties and large social gatherings. An outdoor terrace, which the company describes as the best in Wandsworth, completes the offering.

The venue serves beers brewed on-site, accompanied by Neapolitan-style pizza. The company notes that the Evening Standard included this space among the top ten bars and restaurants of 2021.

Beers brewed on-site

The beer range includes references such as IPA, Session Pale Ale, Pumphouse, Best Bitter, Wandle and Pilsner Pagoda. Production is organised in cask and keg formats and in seasonal varieties, also available in cask and keg.

Shop and delivery service

The company sells its beers through an online shop with home delivery. Available formats include cans, bottles, kegs, gift boxes and merchandise. The shop also offers a newsletter subscription with a 10% discount on the first online order.

Experiences and tours

Activities on offer include visits to the Heritage Centre, the Tasting & Tour Experience and the 'Brewer For The Day' experience, which allows participants to take part in the brewing process. The taproom also organises its own events, such as the Sunday quiz night, the 2 for 1 Tuesdays promotion, the Wandsworth Run Club and the bottomless brunch.

Venue hire and sports screenings

The venue offers the possibility of booking spaces for events (Venue Hire) and has sports programming. The events schedule is updated regularly and includes music and sports events open to different audiences.

Wholesale

The company has a business line aimed at the trade channel (Trade), with specific support for hospitality and distribution customers.
