Lock Fitter Ltd, Ultion locks and home security hardware

Lock Fitter Ltd is a British supplier focused on the sale of locks and security hardware for doors and windows. The company presents itself as an official distributor of the ULTION® and LOCKLOCK® brands and has operated since 2016 with delivery throughout the United Kingdom. Its catalogue is aimed mainly at homeowners looking to replace or upgrade their locking mechanisms, and combines online sales with technical advice by phone or email.

Ultion locks and ALPS systems

The store's core product is the Ultion ALPS 3 Star PLUS cylinder, described as a three-star lock with a £5,000 security guarantee, Sold Secure Diamond certification and Police Preferred Specification (Secure by Design). The ALPS (Always. Locked. Protection. System.) system works with Brisant Secure technology. The company states that the locks have been tested and approved by locksmiths and that orders with multiple cylinders include the Keyed-a-like service, which allows several locks to be opened with the same key. Ultion Key Control is also offered to reinforce control over key copying.

Keys, remotes and accessories

The store sells genuine Ultion keys, presented as thicker and more durable than conventional keys, with the indication that they maintain the manufacturer's guarantees and are compatible with Ultion Key Control. The company identifies itself as an authorised Ultion key cutting centre. The catalogue also includes free key caps on ALPS lock orders and discounts when buying two or more keys. Other items available are the Ultion Rim cylinder, Ultion lock lubricant and SBD (Sleeping) batteries, aimed at protecting against relay theft, a method that extends the signal of a keyless car key from inside the home.

Handles and hardware for doors and windows

The hardware range covers Ultion window handles in inline and cranked versions, with finishes in white, black, gold and satin nickel, from £4.50 and with a ten-year guarantee. For Warmcore bifold doors, replacement handles with a folding key are offered, designed to leave the key in place without it getting in the way when closing; the set includes three standard keys and one folding key, and can be combined with Ultion one-star or three-star locks. The store also sells corrosion-resistant door hardware and a door configurator.

Smart locks and master key systems

Featured products include the Ultion Nuki, a smart lock renewed in 2025 with a sleeker design and built-in Wi-Fi bridge, which the company describes as an evolution of its award-winning smart lock. Lock Fitter also designs master key systems for homes and offices, with the aim of reducing the number of keys and simplifying access and permission management.

Service, guarantees and reviews

The company offers free shipping on orders over £150 and fast dispatch, and maintains a customer service line to advise on which lock or handle fits each door. It manages the activation of the Ultion Lock & Key guarantee and the Sweet Hardware guarantee. The site shows more than 250 reviews with an average of 4.9 out of 5 and an 'Excellent' rating on Trustpilot; the comments collected mention the speed of shipping, product knowledge and the attention received from their team.
