Roofing Ninjas

Roofing Ninjas, roof replacement in Liverpool and Merseyside

Roofing Ninjas LTD is a roofing company led by Philip Gunwhy, focused on new roofs and complete roof replacements in Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley and nearby areas. The company states that most of its work comes through referrals and word of mouth, and that for this reason it pays attention to the preparation beneath the finished roof, the details around chimneys and valleys, and keeping the agreed scope clear with the customer.

The company states that it would rather turn down a job than accept a specification it cannot stand behind. Its presentation insists that reputation is built before the next job, not after.

Roofing and roofline services

The service catalogue is organised into four main areas:

• Roof replacement: complete roof renewal in Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley, with tiles, felt, battens and leadwork.
• Flat roofing: covering, deck, insulation and drainage are considered together.
• Fascias, soffits and gutters: coordinated roofline replacement, with proper ventilation and drainage.
• Gutter clearing: clearing accessible gutters and outlets. The site indicated a price from £110 including VAT.

Fascia and soffit cleaning also appears as a service.

Documented projects

The website shows real jobs with photographs and descriptions, including the replacement of the main roof and a large flat roof on an extension at Turning Lane, Southport, accompanied by the customer's photographs and a five-star Google review. Another project featured is a complete roof replacement and chimney alteration at the party wall on Denebank Road, West Derby, with images and the customer's Google review. The removal of a 16ft chimney and reconstruction of a valley in Ormskirk is also documented.

Areas covered

The company names Waterloo and Crosby as long-established areas, and extends its work to Maghull, Melling, Kirkby and West Derby, as well as the whole of Liverpool and Merseyside. Its stated main area is Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley and surrounding areas.

Terms, guarantees and accreditations

New roof work has a minimum 10-year company guarantee under its written terms; the company states that it does not currently offer insurance-backed guarantees.

Booking process

The proposed journey begins with the postcode and a few basic property details, continues with exploring options and a possible guide price, then with requesting a survey, and ends with the delivery of a written quotation detailing the scope, the VAT-inclusive price and the payment terms. The company stresses that no measurements are needed to start and that there is no obligation to book.
